Coming 'round the bend We will find That it's all in our heads And we'll know That this will never end And we'll fall down again Back around the bend Never believed it'd come But now it's the end Been lost but now I'm on my way

Won't give in Rise above Of the way I speak with my mind And sometimes It is bleak and blunt Unspeakable Lascivious Unspeakable It's bringing me down Offensive filth and slime It corrupts But who is really then tainted by this cunning art? Unspeakable Lascivious Unspeakable It's bringing me down

Falling back in time Where does that? Time too slow Slow But it's— Nowhere to go It's burning down, down, down I can see you clearly in the art of the world It's time and to get away Away, way Fall Fall away For coming in We said it's time I can see you falling in our lives I can see you falling in our lives I can see you falling in our lives Hey, it's a beautiful time To run away from home again It's beautiful now Wait for the coming to life We're goin' way back home We're goin' way back home now coming Down in your life You'll say that Girl, sorry but now it's goin' down A way back home A way back in our lives Don't you say that we know it's wrong But now we've come and gone, boy And breaking down in our lives we are falling down again Again and again Again and a— Found the way to our lives It's been so long since I've tried I tried so hard but I couldn't obtain it No Been breaking down in a ball We fall down again We fall down again Now hit the saxophone You know on the street you meet the craziest sorts of people And you're walking around and you're like man, well, this guy's crazy And then he's like wearing a hat, man.... ...

Is this just another song About a man sitting with his guitar As he sadly weeps? Or is it time for a brighter day? All I think about is the same It never changes Oh, when will it change? Change

about

This album was mostly conceived during my final year at Stony Brook and during my teenage years. I started working with multi-track recordings for the first time and making some demos, recording two tracks with Ben Brewer on bass.

After graduating in 2011, I went on a six month long journey, where I came up with the name Fotgjengeren (Norwegian for The Pedestrian). I had a lot of inspiration from the trip and it helped contribute to the vibe of the album. After a fortuitous meeting with Christopher Sauter (J.E.L.L.i.), I began sessions at his studio, rerecording material from the demos, though a small amount of material, like Ben Brewer's bass, remained from the original demos. I had a lot of fun making this album and working with all the collaborators.
